Providing Support for Single Parents

single parent advocate innerYou're a nonprofit with online resources and information that could assist as much as 25% of the U.S. population. Only problem—how can you help if they don’t know you exist?

Make it easy to find you online.

When Single Parent Advocate began working with SocialRaise, they were looking for a solution and digital marketing strategy that would allow them to provide single parents in the U.S. with access to resources, practical assistance and emotional support. A digital community center where parents can stay connected. With 1 in 4 kids being raised in single family homes today, there are a lot of potential constituents. But just building a website today doesn’t ensure awareness or traffic to your site. You need a plan which will raise the profile and enable those prospective constituents—and supporters—to find you. And it must be a cost-efficient and repeatable plan.

The SocialRaise team developed a content strategy for driving traffic and moving the organization up in the search engine rankings. Based on low- and no-cost approaches, the plan’s goal was that when someone searches for a relevant topic, Single Parent Advocate’s site appears on the first page of results returned.

Result: Single Parent Advocate is usually in the top three sites listed on the first page of the results—and thousands of requests for help from single parents around the country.

"We needed a partner that would understand our vision and help us bring it to fruition, and SocialRaise got us! The team created a stylish and functional online store which we can quickly and easily update. More importantly, the SocialRaise team focused on helping us navigate the path to insuring our business is compliant with all the rules and regulations; is easy for our shoppers to use; and, enables us to communicate about the work we do in supporting children in Houston's 5th Ward." - Natalie Mills, CEO & Santana Draper's Mom, PaperToy LLC
